On Pollock and the Abstract in Art

February 27th, 2010

Although my taste in art is for the old masters, not to say that I do not appreciate the works of abstract art. Here and there I find something I like to watch at.Let 's take Jackson Pollock. With one of his drawings that I saw in an exhibition in Paris, I learned to appreciate his work a little 'more than before. The design in question is a small piece, about 40 x 30 inches with some scribbles blacks, semicolons on white paper. Yet I found myself for about twenty minutes, mesmerized by – and the design itself, but reflects an adjustment of the mark on one of pure curiosity commas.
